Elizabeth Salon, R.N.C., M.S., F.N.P.

Elizabeth Salon, RNC, MS, FNP is a licensed family nurse practitioner with over 25 years of experience in holistic health care. She graduated with a BA (Cum Laude) from Temple University in Philadelphia, and obtained her Master's degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program from Pace University/New York Medical College located in Pleasantville, NY. She came to Ithaca in 1986 to raise her family in this educationally-motivated and enlightened community. Elizabeth is a dedicated volunteer in grassroots organizations devoted to children, affordable health care, natural foods, world peace; and she is on the nursing faculty at Tompkins Cortland Community College.

Elizabeth takes a professional holistic approach with each individual and family. Her care is a synthesis of modern science and perennial medical wisdom, blending conventional and unconventional, and fostering an optimistic and hopeful attitude toward the experience of illness. Ms. Salon collaborates with her colleagues at the IMC to assist in offering comprehensive care for all their patients.

Elizabeth also has appointments for patients looking for the manual techniques of CranioSacral therapy and Reiki. Elizabeth’s practice consists of a combination of Reiki and CranioSacral therapy addressing many puzzling conditions by normalizing the environment around the brain and spinal cord and enhancing the body’s ability to self-correct.
