Ann Wang

Dr. Ann Wang is the founder and director of the Integrative Medicine Center. She is a National Board Certified and New York State Licensed acupuncturist and a National Board Certified Chinese herbalist. She has training in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Before coming to the United States, she was a teaching physician at Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (1980-1983), then served as Chief Medical Administrator of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 1983 to 1987. In the early 2000’s, she directed the development of the largest Traditional Chinese Medicine database in the US. She received her medical degree in Oriental medicine from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and her Ph.D. in research advancement in Oriental medicine from the College of Alternative Medicine Research Advancement, AGU.

In 2007, Dr. Wang was one of the first six practitioners worldwide (excluding residents of China) to be awarded the title of Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Physician in Chief, by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. She specializes in pain reduction, management of chronic illness, women’s health and infertility.
