Neil Weinberg

Neil Weinberg is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist and is also board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He graduated from the New York College for Wholistic Health Education and Research in Syosset, New York. He has completed advanced studies at hospitals in China.

His commitment to Chinese medicine grows out of previous training in botany and a graduate degree in Environmental Science from Antioch University. His deep interest in the natural world resonates with the Chinese philosophy of medicine, specifically the energetic correspondences between natural forces and human health.

Neil has particular interest in pain management, stress related ailments and women's health. He has lectured widely on the subject of Chinese medicine at many locations including Wilson and Lourdes Hospitals and the School of Nursing at Binghamton University; the Falck Cancer Center in Elmira; and Ithaca College and Cornell University.

He brings extensive experience in the collaborative healthcare model to the Integrative Medicine Center working in Vestal at Complementary Medicine and Healing Arts and Lourdes Wellness Center, in Elmira at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, and in Rochester at Equipose.

He utilizes a holistic approach, viewing each patient as a unique individual, requiring a custom tailored treatment. He has been in private practice in Ithaca since 1996.
